Please join us for the upcoming Regional Gathering in celebration of the birth anniversary of Pujya Shri Chariji Maharaj. The event will be held the weekend of July 19-21, 2024 at the Open-Ended Studio in Hamilton, Montana. 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES: 

The gathering will begin Friday, July 19 at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 12 noon on Sunday, July 21. 

LOCATION: 

Hamilton is located in the beautiful Bitterroot Mountains of western Montana. It is approximately 45 miles south of Missoula, and about a nine-hour drive from Seattle. 

Open-Ended Studio is an expressive arts studio, as well as a venue for many spiritual events and gatherings, including the Dances of Universal Peace, Heartfulness Meditation, Kirtans, Spiritual Drumming Circles, etc. The studio includes a large meditation hall /meeting room, a kitchen, a dining room (usually used for art projects), and two bathrooms. The center also has a large back yard with grass, beautiful trees, and a labyrinth. 

Open-Ended center is located in a quiet, residential area of Hamilton, MT, across the street from the Daly Elementary School. There is plenty of parking off the street at the center, as well as across the street in front of the elementary school.

ACCOMMODATIONS: 

CAMPING ~ Camping is allowed in the large back yard of the Open-Ended Center. Please plan to bring your own tent and bedding (sheets, blankets or sleeping bag and pillow.) Please note that while there are two bathrooms, there are no showers at the center. 

STAY EXPRESS INN ~ The Stay Express Inn, located at 409 S 1st St, Hamilton, MT 59840, has offered all HFN participants a discount, down from $185. to $140. per room. Each room contains two queen beds, and can be shared by four people. The hotel is walking distance from the venue. Please book your reservations as soon as possible, as these rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. Summer is high season in this area, so all hotels get fully booked, often far in advance. The phone number of the hotel is 406-363-2142. When you book, please tell them you are from the “Patel Group” to get the discount. (The manager’s name is Haresh Patel, and we told him our guru’s name was Patel too!) 

OTHER HOTELS ~ There are several other hotels in Hamilton, including a Quality Inn, a Super Eight, The City Center Hotel, and the Bitterroot River Inn. All the hotels we contacted had higher prices in July and/or did not offer a discount for small groups. There are also many bed and breakfasts in the area. 

FOOD: 

We will be cooking our own simple vegetarian meals. Alternatives to wheat and dairy will be available if necessary. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs.

THINGS TO BRING

Tent and bedding (sheets, blankets, sleeping bags, and pillows) if you are planning to camp; towels; comfortable light-weight clothing, shoes or sandals, toiletries, a flashlight, a warm jacket for cool evenings, an umbrella, and your journal or diary.
